IT'S TIME SAN DIEGO

The San Diego Aquatics Center Council is committed to building a world-class aquatic facility and community pool that the residents of San Diego deserve.

Our Mission: Build a World-Class Aquatic Complex in Liberty Station

The San Diego Aquatic Center Council envisions a vibrant and inclusive regional aquatic center in the heart of San Diego, where people of all ages and abilities can access world-class facilities, engage in water-based recreation, and foster a lifelong connection to aquatic sports and safety. Through collaboration, innovation, and sustainability, we strive to make San Diego a leader in aquatic excellence, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. Additionally, we are committed to hosting regional, national, and international swimming, diving, and water polo competitions, generating significant economic impact and solidifying San Diego as a premier destination for aquatic sports.

"This is something the Point Loma community has been working together toward for a while now and I don't want to see these efforts delayed any longer than necessary. My office is working closely with the San Diego Aquatics Center Council to help navigate the Department of the Interior and the National Parks Service to ensure that any request they file goes as smoothly as possible."
