Tom's dream of establishing a world-class aquatic center in San Diego has persisted for over 20 years, fueled by his passion for the water and dedication to building aquatic excellence in our community. Hailing from the East Coast, Tom was a high school All-American swimmer and swam at the University of Georgia. Ever the water enthusiast, Tom still swims, having tackled competitive ocean swims and numerous Ironmans, and enjoys surfing. His enduring love for the water also extends to his children, who excel in swimming for both a USA club team and Point Loma High School. Tom, his wife Kristin, and their three daughters have lived in Ocean Beach for the past 20 years.
